When Fuel Fest was founded by Cody Walker and Chris Lee, their aim was to create something that could be relished by all enthusiasts. No matter how much their ride cost or how much money was thrown into their build. In the end, it’s the variety that keeps the car culture alive & interesting, not just pure money. Furthermore, for Walker and Lee, the cars are a mere canvas on which different individuals, coming from various backgrounds and origins, can express themselves, creating something unique & outworldly. And in the end, judging by how popular Fuel Fest has become in recent years, growing to one of the most popular automotive events in SoCal, they’ve nailed it right.
Unfortunately, this year’s event was somewhat ruined by heavy rain, but even that didn’t stop numerous fans and owners who visited the event.
The 2019 Fuel Fest saw a number of impressive builds, joined by several detailed restorations, coupled with a few highly coveted and rare pieces of automotive history, all wrapped up a bevvy of supercar builds. In turn, not even the rain could make this year’s edition of Fuel Fest, fail to amaze us.
We’ve been a long time supporter and fans of this event. Hence, showcasing a few builds of our own, packed with a few of our most popular wheel designs, seemed like the right thing to do. Even with the rain ruining the mood to a point, we’ve had great fun & a lot of interesting conversations were made with a few of our customers, friends, and fans, making the 2019 Fuel Fest a memorable event.
As you will see from the media gallery below, the centerpiece of the CCW Wheels booth at the 2019 Fuel Fest was a clean Toyota Supra MKIV, joined naturally by several of our wheels. You can check out some of this year’s Fuel Fest action in the media gallery right below. Thanks to all that came and visited our booth and see you next year, that’s for sure!
