Alright, Mitsubishi may not be the hottest item on the automotive market right now, but they once ruled the JDM world with ease. While you may have to cry a bit and reminiscent, the Japanese carmaker actually made some excellent cars in the past. The likes of the Mitsubishi 3000 GT, Diamante or the Eclipse were all fan favorites in the early ’90s and ’00s, but there was one car that overshadowed them all: the Lancer Evolution.
For many, this was the epitome of a true rally car. Battling the likes of the Subaru Impreza WRX STi or the Ford Focus WRC, this was the car that got everybody’s blood flowing. And the road-legal Lancers, starting from the EVO V all the way to the EVO X, always provided a true 4×4 rally car experience in street-legal conditions.
